Carver is an auto-buy for me at this point. Happy to see his release schedule accelerate a wee bit again. This was not my absolute favorite that he's written, but I relish each opportunity to enter into the world he creates with each new story. Each offers a trip - an escape - into a marginal, slightly risky, possibly dangerous world of straight boys looking to rough up and take advantage of a gay (or ambiguous) main character. Sexy, enlightening, philosophical and edgy. I envy anyone just discovering him for the first time at this point.Product details
